Description
The readme.txt in the ModelGlue folder contains many pieces of information that is out-of-date.
The following list is from the readme.txt in the SVN trunk. The latest release zip contains additional errors but at this point it's better to replace the current release zip with a newer release than to fix the old zip.
Serious Errors
* Two places that refer to the Model-Glue version number as 3.0.206, when the latest release was 3.1.185. Making this number match the actual release is one of the hazards of including SVN revision numbers in product release numbers ;-)
* "URLS TO KNOW" has http://groups.google.com/group/ModelGlue as the "unofficial" Model-Glue Google Group, when it is now inactive and only receives spam.
* A line under "FULL DOCUMENTATION" says "This is a beta build."
* Step 4 of "QUICK INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS" says "try http://host/modelgluesamples/legacysamples/nameuppercaser or http://host/modelgluesamples/legacysamples/contactmanager" when these two samples are no longer included in the Model-Glue distribution.
* A line under "WHEN THINGS BREAK" says "For beta purposes, please add the bug to http://trac.model-glue.com/ and we'll get right on it.", when Trac is now the way to report all Model-Glue issues.
Important Omission
* "URLS TO KNOW" does not include the Model-Glue Wiki http://docs.model-glue.com/wiki.
Minor Issue
* Under "WHEN THINGS BREAK", step 3 of what to post says "What you thought should of happened" instead of "What you thought should have happened" (Yes I know that this is a general grammar error and not 'out-of-date', but I thought since I was here...).
